People can get downright mean on sorting applications, partly because we see a lot on a weekly basis, so applicants stop being people to us and just another set of answers. But even with comments about you "not understanding" things, I really hope you'll reconsider applying. HiH is not a place with a HUGE focus on canon knowledge/etc (that's more hogwarts_elite). It's an extremely fun place, and most people probably won't even remember what they told you once you're in (unless they like you). There are some things where HP knowledge is suggested, but there is SO much else you can do.
Applying again is obviously up to you, but I'd love to help. =)
Thank you, I really would love to reapply but after hearing what my "best friend" had to say I wouldn't feel comfortable there anymore. I'm sad I won't get to meet and talk to great people like you though, you really did brighten my day!
